The lines speak of molecular interconnectedness.
Like telephone lines connecting us to every house in the city.
I believe apes were created on one part of the earth, while Adam was created on another part of the earth on the same day.
How effective was Jesus at testifying of His messiahship?
So its in your best interest to discourage others form finding lines,
... and to treat the dots as nothing more than random unconnected events.
I think the lines are already found and drawn ... don't you?
Aren't they called cladograms or something?
Since I believe God is our common designer, I wouldn't call them "random unconnected events."
I certainly believe they were events (ex materia by divine fiat).
I certainly believe they are unconnected (unless you want to factor in the dust of the earth, but that's showing desperation).
But "random"?
No.
Random indeed. The Bible says that God created the animals to attempt to find a suitable helper for Adam.
But why do they look the way they do?
Why did they look so similar?
Why did it take God so many times to get it right with Eve?
<looks, see nothing>Oh ... I think I can come up with a difference between the Bible and religion.
Indeed. The Bible could not support evolutionary theory without the existence of gravity. And I can use gravity as an example too!
LOL
Darwinism (evolution) was evolving during this time, and Hort eagerly supported the anti-Bible teachings of Darwin.
Then why did He keep them?
Designer's choice?
Ontological reduction?
What do you want?
Earth to look like an intergalactic bar in Star Wars?
One is 'so many times'?
God paraded the animals past Adam for two reasons:
- So Adam could name them.
- Generate in Adam the concept of needing a help meet.
Can't you see Adam back then?
"Mr & Mrs Gorilla"
"Mr & Mrs Giraffe"
"Mr & Mrs Horse"
[thinking to himself]: "Hmmm. Something's missing and I can't quite put my rib on it."
Fair enough. To satisfy the one power in the Bible that's even greater than God -- the Narrative.

Funny. If species were created separately, there is no reason that we should be able to fit them into an objective cladogram based on shared and weighted characters.
Funny.
I used to think that too.
But it's because I underestimated science's ability to explain things.
As they say: necessity is the mother of invention.
Ontological reduction. Why would separately created species fall into an objective cladogram?
Why would separately created species fall into an objective cladogram?
Cars don't fall into an objective cladogram. Buildings don't fall into a cladogram. Why would separately created species fall into a cladogram? Why would God put a fake evolutionary history in life and in the fossil record?
Ontological reduction.
Darwin's Tree vs Adam's Grove
Creator's choice. Why would humans fall into the same cladogram with all other vertebrates if so many of those species were created separately?
Creator's choice.
And who put them into that cladogram? God or Linnaeus?
Creator's choice.
Why would God choose to make it look like life evolved when there was no need to?
