I've always questioned things (why I put my faith as agnostic), and I've never accepted one source or one answer as true. I think questioning is part of what makes us human, you know?

Let's see... I like anime, manga, and art. I'm very much a homebody, and also one of the most conservative liberals in my high school. (If I could have I would have voted for Donald Trump, for many reasons).

I enjoy playingvideo games, reading fantasy novels, and my favorite music genre is a tie between kpop and rock. I hope to meet new people and have some questions of mine answered. I hope this wasn't too long for some of you!

The only thing that is too long, is in the why you have hesitated to finally seek some answers!
Luk 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
John 5:44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? First you must realize Ye have not chosen God, but He has chosen you or you would not be here asking: Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Then you must learn what is our guarantee of inheritance and what exactly is the purchased possession.
Ephesians 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, (14) which is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Hey! Also 18 and prone to questioning everything - currently see myself as agnostic too, but on the seeking faith side of things. (One of the nice things about Christianity though is that you constantly have to question things, because there are many answers and none are simple. If someone tells you that they have the answers and you just need to sit down and listen, run screaming with me!) I am so sorry to hear that you've had such a traumatic time of it, and whilst I've met you the grand total of 3 paragraphs ago, I'm hear to listen if you want to talk, complain, whatever. Mostly though, I just sympathise and have faith that you are young, bright and strong, and you can and will get better.

(I have no idea of my political leanings at this point, because I'm British, which means I'm screwed. Probably not Trump though... as I said, British.)

One of the things about questioning that I'm learning the hard way is that there's a big difference in going window shopping for religious answers, and burning everything you own and starting again from scratch. Okay, possibly not that dramatically, but you get my point - I've always had very strong views on well, everything, and now I'm putting them all on hold. 18 is too early for a mid life crisis, right?

I love YA novels, but I have like a core set (HP, Hunger Games, PJ and the Olympians (not the sequel, bleh), Mortal Instruments (again, not the sequel), and Eragon) that I read again and again. I'm also addicted to television - like, seriously, I tried stopping and lasted a day.

Where in the States do you live? And oops, this was way too long... I am procrastinating revision of course.

Hey all, thanks for the warm welcomes! It's good to know that I have the support of people who don't even know who I am, thanks! I'm unsure how to quote people so I'll just leave a quick reply here: I enjoy P&W music, honestly have to say that Isaiah Jenkins is one of my fave PW singers. I think it's absolutely wonderful how God brings atheists and agnostics here to a Christian forum. He certainly works in a variety of ways.
