Questioning Talent?

i am a musician 17 yrs old and i've been playing for about 4 years, i find myself great at playing guitar. i also have OCD, which is intrusive thoughts. and i wonder if God gave me musical talent or if the devil did. i don't believe in the whole concept of selling your soul because God created you, he has your soul, Jesus died to save you. i was inspired by the band 'Marilyn Manson' as a kid, ofcourse i was to young to understand what the songs meant but the guitarist 'John 5' inspired me to pick up the guitar. i've changed my musical taste completely from that type of music to music like the beach boys, beatles etc.. i sing about Love and Peace, i sometimes like to 'improv' songs and just started singing about how great God is. but i wonder if my talent is from evil spirits or ghost, it sounds weird i know but i have an illness which makes me think this. any comments?

No, your talent is not from demons. You are using the gifts God gave you to glorify him. Also, from a Biblical perspective, ghosts do not exist.

It's not about what artists you sing/play. It's about what you sing/say.

To be honest the Beatles for instance, have just as many anti-Christ messages as Marylin Manson.

Peace and love is great, but just be sure you represent Jesus too. There's no point just making "positive" music.

I don't think your skills are of the devil at all, but just use them well.

I actually understand where you are coming from with this post. All gifts of talent are from God. You may not have used them for His glory at first, but He had a plan for you.
