My heart is harden seriously so dry, cold and empty nothing penetrate please I want to repent but I can't because of my heart and it makes me cry cause I can't go back to God after falling and am sick, please what is the way out?

I have learned from experience that some sins are harder to overcome that others. Nonetheless, it is possible to live a victorious life in Christ Jesus.

You must first understand something. If an apple seed is planted today, will it sprout a huge apple tree that bears fruit the next day? No. It needs to grow first. As it grows it needs the proper nutrients in the soil, proper attention, water, sunlight, etc. As you do this the seed will sprout and begin to grow slowly.

The word of God (the Bible) is a type of seed. Sin is another type of seed. The word of God is to be planted on spiritual soil. Sin is to be planted on carnal soil. Paul saids to take heed which one you plant. Both types are in a fight against each other and only one will overcome the other. The seed of godliness will lead you to life while the seed of sin will lead you to death.

You need to understand that example also applies to our spiritual/carnal lives. The more you feed your spirit the more it begins to grow. The more you feed your flesh it begins to grow. You need to make a decision of what you want to feed and stick to it.

A good question to ask is how can I apply this on a personal level.
Answer:
Take heed what you allow into your heart (which is the soil). You must fight on a daily basis on what you will allow in. If you keep watching television, hanging around people, listening to ungodly music....all that ungodliness will come to your heart and will produce a type of plant that will ultimately bear fruit. Even if you think such activities are harmless.....that is not true. On a spiritual level, just a small seed of sin is enough to overcome the godliness that you once had...I believe that is why solomon says guard your heart for the issues of life are in there. Or something like that.

Fill your heart with the bible, with prayer, with christian sermons that are true in biblical doctrine. Turn off the wordly music and television. Surround yourself with believers in a church and whenever else you can. Be zealous for what you allow into your heart on a daily basis. As you do this the seed of godliness will be begin to sprout life into you. As it sprouts life you must guard it. Tend to it. Water it. Feed it. Keep out the ravens. Keep out the thorns. Keep the seed from being rootless.

This is not a preaching. I am a 26 year old who has been in a constant spiritual battle due to wickedness...But i have seen the power of God's word (the bible) and prayer and how it can change a person. I have also seen what happens to those who get lazy and stop feeding their spiritual side. I have seen godly people fallen because they did not heed this message. I am no preacher, just a dude with a broken heart that knows the solution to a common problem.

Have you thought about listening to Christian music or worship music? That may help soften your heart. There is a lot of Christian music available online. The iHeartRadio app has an entire section of Christian music and it is free to download.

Also in terms of i cant go back to God because of my sin...Stop that nonsense. You keep running to God. Even if you just sinned the biggest sin any human being could do...You still run to God. Yes, you may feel guilty or not worthy and so forth. But you need to understand that you need God. And He is willing to help you. He is a loving God that will not turn away anyone who is willing to turn back to Him. KEEP TURNING TO GOD EVEN IN YOUR LOWEST POINT. If you fall, get back up through prayer and reading the bible. Dont give up. You may fall many times again (i hope this not be the case), but get up and keep going towards Jesus Christ. Dont you take your eyes off of Him....Dont settle in the darkness. Fight. Even if it takes years. Fight. Amen.

Thank God our relationship with him is not based on how we feel at the moment.

I have terrible anxiety and depression and sometimes I feel like crawling in a hole and dying. I'll skip Bible reading/prayer and I feel worse. Sometimes I feel like God does not love me as much as he does other Christians.

My feelings on those days are lies compared to what the Bible says.

Have you submitted your life to God through Christ Jesus? If so, then nothing - not even your feelings can snatch you out of the hands of God - so says the Bible.

Here's what I suggest:

• Ask God to soften your heart.
• Tell him that you are afraid.
• Put your faith in charge of your feelings. Kind of like a 3-car train. Faith is the engine. You are the passenger car. And your feelings make up the caboose. When our faith take the lead, everything falls into place. When our feelings take the lead - sometimes the train will jump the track.

Listening to songs of worship softens the heart tremendously, just like practising to soften the muscles behind the eyes helps to overcome the stress of life. Selah is instrumental music that often the heart automatically sings along with when the words are known.
We’ve been dummy downed for a long time and have become comfortably numb, so it takes effort to keep awake to the stirrings of the heart and not to fall asleep again in the arms of the wicked one. Bible reading is of course very important, but equally important is reading in the spirit of truth and not in the letter of the law. Think on things that are true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. In actions remain outside of law by acting only in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Jesus is the Savior, Messiah, King, Healer, Comforter, Deliverer, Atoner, and so much more.

If in Kano, or in Togo, there was a prophet or even a doctor who could heal a terrible skin disease, where would people go to be healed of that disease ? To that prophet or doctor, of course.

It would not matter if they had a library full of medical or religious books, or ten schools close by ,
no, no matter how much they knew or had access to, if they did not go to the prophet or the doctor they would most likely continue not being healed of that terrible skin disease.

Jesus , calling on Him, is not far away, as if way far up in heaven and cannot be reached, no,
He is Faithful and True, Always, ready to save(heal) all who come to Him and not to cast them aside. Jesus, not a fallible man. Jesus, eternal giver of life. Jesus, as sent by The Creator to heal and to save those who were lost.

To repent means to turn away from your sin ... so ... if you are struggling with this ... then go to prayer and ask Jesus to help you overcome your sin.

Satan never gives up ... it's a life-long battle ... thank God we can call upon Him to help us through our difficulties ... all of them.

"We walk by faith, not by sight." The way out is to exercise faith which is greater than feelings. Stop looking at your own heart, and start looking at Jesus and the words He spoke, and practice them. It might take awhile to break that addiction of following your heart, but if you are persistent in trusting Christ and doing what He commanded, the stronghold will break. "Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of faith."
