Thank you brother, but I'm not any better as a person than you or anyone else.

I know it's hard to see hope and reality, when one is looking at things through the lens of depression. Doesn't mean they aren't there. It took me quite a while to see it myself. But in my case it's good, I don't learn anything if I get something right away. If I get something immediately, I don't understand its value and I lose it just as fast as I got it. It was better for me to have to deal with my illness. I learned things. Every year that I was depressed, it taught me resilience and patience. Especially when I thought I had neither, then, unknowingly, I learned it the most. Patience and resilience comes as a side product, always. And once you've gotten out of the worst situation, no matter how long it might take, you are so much stronger than ever before.
