Hey ALL!

My name is Heather...and I am about a month new to this site. [Not too new!] But I am VERY new to this Forum...never posted here before.

But, I am 15 years old...and I am starting to think about a profession. I went to Church Camp...and I felt as if I were called to the Ministry...[no clue whether or not it is full time] But, my family has a history of medical professions...and I don't know if it is a gene thing or what...but I really want to be a doctor! I am not sure if GOD wants me to...but I believe he wants us to have our desires WHILE ministering...what is a better way to minister than to sick people? I am also a very talented writer...and I think I could do that in my spare time...ministering for God...obviously...But to become a doctor I must go to college for 9 years...that is 9 years without work...but I do believe that MY college funds are supplied...I am a STRAIGHT A student...and I have funds from my Church...but I really do want to be a doctor! It is something I am TRULY interested in...that is MY desire. I am not sure about GOD'S will for me! Does anyone have any advice? It is pretty important. I would like to choose a profession to work toward! [A goal, I can look forward to reaching in school, a race I can finish!]

Well, thanks to all who read this! I pray that God will bless YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your Sister In Christ,
Heather

My advice is read the bible everyday, obey Jesus, and He'll guide you. Take life one day at a time, Jesus says don't worry about tomorrow for each day has enough trouble of its own. Grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus, and He will guide you and be with you. Following Jesus is not easy, and He doesn't promise life is easy, but He does promise to be with us and eternal life if we follow Jesus. If you don't, He doesn't promise those things. If you've given Him your life, learn what He teaches and do it. Read the bible every day and do what it says, that's what I'm doing with my life.
