We are in so much need of help......and if anybody knows anything 'bout grants......I sure would appreciate any information that could be provided.....I don't know anything about 'em.....and a good friend of mine was tellin' me I ought to check it out, an that we should be eligible....

I was tryin' to read up on 'em on the internet...but it's all so confusing to me.....nothin's registering......

I noticed there were healthcare grants, household grants, small business grants......and thousands of others......but these three, from what I DID understand, would be such a blessing and a tremendous help to our family......

anyway.......if anyone can help me find out more 'bout these things....I would be soooooooo grateful......I just don't wanna open up 'bout our given situation......it's rather humiliating.....

Lisa, I don't know too much about how you apply for personal grants. I would think maybe a social worker in your area may be able to help you out. Or possibly the Department of Health and Human Services.

I will say a prayer that someone who does know how to give you the information you need will be brought to you and will be able to help.

There are many different types of grants. And many different places that hand them out. The Government for one, both local and federal. but also individual. The best advice I can think of to give you is to get in touch with anyone you might know of that has worked a fundraiser that required large sums of money for a community project. They would most likey have some experience in applying for grants.

I will pray for the Lord to guide you in the right direction for this.
