So, I dont know if this is the right place or not to ask this question but I jus want some peoples opinions. I was with this guy for a little while and he broke up with me. Now yesterday he asked if I would go on a date with him and keeps sayin stuff about how he should have kept me..I am not sure what to do or even if I should go on a date..

Well he says he wants to wait till marriage for sex, I am mostly worried he will hurt me again, and I dont know what to do because I dont want to be hurt again but I do want to date him! its really confusing

Listen to your gut or whatever you want to call that feeling. That happened to me once. My bf broke up with me in gr. 11, then a few weeks later, while hangin out with friends, he kissed me. I so wanted to believe he had the best intentions, because for some reason I wanted him back, I dont know why, because I knew he didnt mean it, deep inside I knew. The next day, it was liek nothing happened. He was just playing with me. If he really hurt you, and he cant take it again, then pray hard, and decided according to your instincts about his intentions.

I'd ask yourself, and maybe even him, what has changed since you guys broke up. Ask him why he wants to date you again... and make him be objective... don't let him get away with saying "cuz you're really hot" Ask him how this will be different from when you guys dated up before. Maybe say yes to the date, but tell him you guys have some things to discuss if the relationship is to go any farther. Then discuss them on the date.

well, i talked to him yesterday (online lol) and he was being weird, he always said he wanted to wait until marriage to have sex and then last night he said "oh i do but if it happens it happens" and he still says he's dating the other girl...I really have a bad feeling, but I really like him and hope that maybe it will work, thanx to u all for ur input!!

Doesn't seem like he wants to settle for just one girl. I would look for another guy to date because it doesn't seem like you are his top priority. It sounds to me like he can't make up his mind which girl he likes...and wants to keep you "open" to dating him in case it doesn't work out with the other girl. My opinion of course.

hmmm, well i think you should think about what God wants you to do, let him guide you.
Im not saying you arnt or anything, i just realise sometimes that im selfish and dont think about God in some situations.
So i think.... 'would God want this to happen? ' etc

i would agree with bliz...

if he says, "if it happens, it happens" then i'd be VERY worried about his theology and his commitment to Christ. and that raises warning bells big time in my opinion.

don't go out with a non-christian, you'll regret it... and he doesn't sound christian to me...
