3 schools that copyed greek NT and OT hebrew

One in egypt that was alagorical
one in Lebonon was a cross of alagorical and literal
one in turkey was literal

How do we know?

Copy's of all those schools books have been compared

Dispensationalist come from the Turkey context
While the Catholics come from the Egypt school of thought

Just as a side note, you might want to check your statement against the history. The facts don't match what you have written.

Sad Astronaut, Peace be with you.

I would like to see some Scripture.

God Bless and stay safe.

First of all, these remarks are not intended to start a debate. I realize that I can say one thing based on scripture and someone else can say another. I am just responding to my own comments and your request for scripture, and this is part of the reason I look to the scriptures as inspiration. Any feelings (which may be the Holy Spirit and any pastoral guidance I try to check with the scriptures.

Mormonism and Catholicism are not very much alike, but they both rely on faith AND works for salvation. Correct me if I'm wrong in this respect.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - Not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV translation)

Yes, there is also James 2:14-17
"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompoanied by action, is dead."

Many take this to mean that we are saved by faith and works, but I believe stating so would contrast the book of Ephesians. It never says in this passage that works save, but it says that faith without works is dead, which is not really faith at all. Works are a consequence of faith. Those who have faith in Christ will have works that follow.

Romans 3:27 - 28
"Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law"

Galatians is a book centered on debunking Judahized Christianity. The whole point of this book is that man is saved by faith. Chapter 3 focuses on this. Paul states in 3:3 "Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?"

There is one mediator between God and man

I Timothy 2:5
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"

I believe in the virgin birth, but I do have verses saying that Mary and Joseph did have intercourse if your interested, and that Jesus had brothers. I omitted them because I find them less pertinent than other doctrinal issues, but I would be glad to include them if you want. Other than that, that's all I have for now.
