  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, no. The insinuation in the New Testament is that we are restored from sin. The fall of man. The fallen angels will not be restored, they have an everlasting place prepared for them.

The fall of man is just a human reinactment of the fall of the angels. The rebellion of Eve was a reenactment of the rebellion of Lucifer (cleverly done too I must say).

If scientists and medical experts changed their data and charts to say what they want them to say, who does it benefit?

And couldnt it even be dangerous to take the liberty to do this?

That would have real world consequences, and the results can be disastrous. If medical practitioners do that, expect to be sued and maybe even prison time

Again, not entirely following you here.

My remark is just that to me, the Bible is just a book (or collection of books) written, re-written, translated over the ages by a bunch of men (and maybe some women), and eventually compiled and voted on by various committees to form the work it is today.

Personally, I wouldn't get overly hung up on the interpretation of it.
