  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone on here attends Malone College, or Bluffton University? If you do could you tell me about your experience there? I currently go to the University of Akron and I am looking to transfer to a Christian college next year. I am looking for a college that has a dance program or maybe at least a dance team, but not many Christian universities do. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations of any small-medium Christian University in or near Ohio, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
:holy:

Both are good schools. I'd chose Bluffton over Malone, but that is just a personal preference. Good luck though!

Anderson college in Indiana offers a dance program. I don't know if you're willing to leave the state, though. (You said near Ohio though, so that's why I'm branching out some). They have a dance minor. Is that the sort of thing you're looking for? They are a really good school. But I as I said, I don't know if you're willing to leave the state.

Uh... Malone University is quite a good school... What I love about it is it is a Christian school, but still allows students a lot of freedom... For example, no curfew, visiting hours 'til 11 (some schools don't even have that), two chapels a week (better than most), no sign-out policies and some other stuff... It still maintains (I think) an emphasis on Christian environment. Unfortunately for you, however, it has no dance program and the closest it comes to a dance 'team' is Colorguard which isn't really a dance team... Hope that helped you.
