ive been thinking about this alot. as in every topic, dont make this a debate of whos right...

christains go to heaven right? if you believe in jesus and god and live your life for him and all that your going. then why does it matter weither your baptist or catholic or all the other groups? dont they all believe in god and jesus and just have certain different belifs around it? i still dont really get the whole different groups thing. who is to say some group is wrong?

It all really boils down to interpetation and thoughts on the Scripture. Some people say it means this or this. Basicly the reason we are divided is because of interpetation and other issures. I don't like to get into denominational dissagreements, but when one conflicts with a core belief I would consider that church wrong. Many people worship many different ways, and people go about reading and learning the Word differently. However, like Jesus said we are different but of one body. As long as we keep Jesus as the head of the church we'll be great.

Well, partly, you know, it's to do with what you like. I mean, most Protestant services I find boring and long-winded. I find charismatic services just too weird. Catholic services (or the Anglican variety of them) are - to me - much more beautiful. You get candles! Incense! Chanting! Pictures on the walls! Short sermons! And I like the silence, punctuated only by words of ministry by those who are called to speak, of a Quaker meeting too. So I go to both.

Different strokes for different folks.

You and a Catholic (or a Methodist or an Episcopalian or a Reformed Presbyterian... ) will go to heaven if you have accepted Jesus Christ as having died in your place for your sins, repented of your sins, and believe that Jesus is the only way to God. Where you go to church, or if you go to church, does not really matter. What matters is if you your sins have been blotted out by the blood of Christ not where you go to church.

You will find people who have done this in a wide variety of Christian denominations and non-denominational churches. I may feel that the message of salvation is clearer in the teachings of some denominations than in others, but that's open to debate and really a matter of opinion and experience. Plus, even within the same denomination, there is often a great deal of variation.

The different groups (or denominations) may have different styles of worship and tend to place more emphisis on one theological point than another. So long as the core principle of salvation through Jesus Christ is presented, it really doesn't matter.

what about different religins like jewdism? thats different right?
Judism is not christianity. They do not accept Jesus as their Savior. They worship the same God, but don't accept Jesus being the Son of God.
