How would you describe the faith of Abraham?

How would you describe the faith of Abraham?

The faith of Abraham was his respose to God's continued speaking. God speaks, we respond with faith. Abraham in his old age and after his failure with Ishmael was able to bring forth Isaac. Abraham's faith was his rightousness. It was nothing that Abraham did. So he is our father, as the first to believe.

We sing a childrens song around the house,

Father Abraham had many sons,
And I am one of them,
And so are you,
So lets just praise the Lord.
