Question for women

I have been celibate for 6 1/2 years and I find that the hardest part is that at certain times of the month (maybe hormonal?) I find it excrutiating. My desire to mate and be loved/held is stronger than at other times of the month. I am of reproductive age, not sure if that's an issue. Do you find this as well?

Not so you'd notice, if my ex was any indication. She'd had her tubes tied, but that was it--- and it seems nothing changed as far as this thread is concerned.

For sure, late 20's -early 30's were the worst. As I've been growing in my relationship with the Lord and the thoughts I'm chosing have been changing, it all helps.
