Did you start by working under someone else as a youth or associate pastor or did you start out own your own? How was that experience?

You can learn a great deal in Bible College and seminary but working with a experienced pastor I believe is the best way to enter the ministry. You will learn so much that isn’t taught in college. There are so many traps a young inexperienced pastor can fall into without the guidance of some seasoned leadership. Personally I can’t imagine starting off attempting to lead a church, just the political dynamics of most churches could be devastating to a young inexperienced pastor.
