question for introverts...what if u like stay-at-home

I love this, "vacation from humans."

Really in areas of over population and for those who have jobs in crowded work spaces, it is a wonderful break. Being over exposed to others is a very stressful thing.

We are being allowed to hold church services with a maximum of ten people in the congregation. At that rate, most of us are not holding services again yet. This morning I opened the doors so people could come and pray privately if they wished.

Our governor recently announced he is opening the beaches on the 22nd but he is praying for rain. He is sending mixed messages

We are going to Church and here the Mass from the Bishop on the internet and next week our Priest will begin homilies again. Here in Ca 3000 churches will open for Pentecost. In our small Church we have five people, the chapel seems huge with that small number . I needed the Holy Eucharist again I was teetering on the edge

Just so there's no confusion for anyone who reads it: those churches are opening against the orders of the state (California) government. The governor has no definite plans to allow opening, yet. He's talking about weeks from now, which probably means months.

Howdy neighbor. Bill Barr sent a very strongly worded letter to Newsome to stop his crap and if everyone else can get together so can Churches and he can not abrogate the second amendment.
Here is a part of the letter:

“California has not shown why interactions in offices and studios of the entertainment industry … are included on the list of being allowed with social distancing where telework is not practical, while gatherings with social distancing for purposes of religious worship are forbidden, regardless of whether remote worship is practical or not,” continued the letter."

3 mos later & home is everything

We're back into strict restrictions. Only four reasons allowed to leave home; essential work/study, caregiving, exercise or essential shopping. For at least another month. Since I'm not working right now and school is at home, "home is everything" is about right here, too.

We're in stage 3 right now so things are starting to open up abit. Last month we were allowed to go to church as long as we wore masks and can not sing. This way the pastor preaching doesn't have to wear a mask. Also don't have to line everywhere to get groceries anymore. Masks are mandatory for public transportation and all indoor buildings.

I agree with most of you. If I never had to go to the store again it would be too soon. The only problem I can see is it eliminates witnessing. Being able to stay at home makes me

I'm an introvert, so staying home is not much of an issue. But I'm cheating - I'm still required to go to work, so I get some social activity there.

Mind you my wife is home too, so between her, me and the dog, someone is always getting into trouble, which brings an air of normality to proceedings.

Watching mass on YouTube or Facebook isn't the same though. I ended up watched it this morning on Facebook for the first time after a request to create a YouTube Channel kept defaulting to the YouTube Channel page.

This meant I could not activate the live stream mass from our church on YouTube. I'll probably be able to look at it later when it becomes past history and is not live stream.

So I had to switch to Facebook. Trouble was the screen was at 90 degrees to the horizontal, and I couldn't figure out how to rotate it. Which was very annoying.
