I'm thinking about cutting all my hair off. I've always had really long hair and was thinking about getting a drastic cut, about shoulder length. Do guys like girls with short hair? Or will it make me too boyish?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My personal preference is definitely girls with long hair. 
I have seen some girls with shortish hair that looks alright, but generally I don't like it as much.

Gosh, I was just going shoulder length! Maybe just like four inches off? I don't want people to think the wrong thing!

I have short hair and I still have guys interested in me. Don't style it for them. Do what you want to do.

Well I am not a guy but I want to reply.
I think guys do usually prefer long hair but they don't mind and sometimes like short hair on girls (if it suits them).
Maybe you should post a pic of yourself so that we can give you some proper advice on what to do with your hair?

Plus there are many men in the world with diverse tastes. This is how I like to think about it. The right guy will like it.

Some men will tolerate and even appreciate short hair, but there is no substitute for long, luscious locks when it comes to the menfolks. Long hair screams sexiness.

I can appreciate all lengths of hair. Especially if you've known someone for a while, it's always nice to switch things up a little bit. That being said, I really like girls' hair's length to be just beyond the shoulders...

I think the shorter styles can look amazing. As long as you get it styled in a feminine way that doesn't look butch, go for it. This thread reminds me of one of my friends in college. She always had long, flat, mousy hair that looked rather dull (to me). Well, one day she walked in with a haircut similar to the pictures below, and I was astounded. Her looks went from "plain Jane" to "the prettiest girl on campus", and the only difference was her haircut.
IMO, the hairstyle these women are wearing looks feminine and sophisticated... not boyish at all.
