  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Depends on what you mean by "developed".

Technically, we're all equally "evolved". But obviously there are differences in traits which mean that humans are better in some regards and other primates better in others.

On a pure survival level, we're better off, since we've clearly dominated the planet relative to other primates.

You don't believe humans dominate the earth?

Not necessarily. It depends on the context in which you are talking about.

Okay, I'm talking in EVERY context. We can create things, we can hunt many species to extinction, we can totally destroy other species' living areas. We can destroy the earth many times over.

Now, if that isn't total domination of all animals, I don't know what is.

'Evoluionists' as a whole arn't that arrogant. It was religion that placed us at the centre of the universe.....

It's got nothing to do with arrogance. It's got everything to do with simply opening your eyes and see that humans can wipe out many species off the face of the earth, humans can destroy all of civilization many times over with nuclear weapson, humans can put almost every other animal in a zoo and watch them for entertainment.

Please someone, tell me any other animal that can do things even close to what humans can do.

Okay, I'm talking in EVERY context.

That doesn't make any sense.

We can create things, we can many species to extinction, we can totally destroy other species living areas. We can destroy the earth many times over.

So?

Now, if that isn't total domination of all species, I don't know what is.

Well.. it isn't. First of all, total destruction is a bit counterproductive to our survival. We need other forms of life to live. Second, even if we destroyed everything, most likely other forms of life would survive (i.e. bacteria) and continue on without us.

I really don't know what you are trying to prove...?

Ok, here's a deal. Tweek your question so that it actually makes some sence and then someone will answer it. Bear in mind that i have a natural handcap when it comes to the english language (which is my own language) and i still manage to make sence, so it can't be that hard....
