  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Question for everyone here....

my sister tells me that on average, each human being "eats" 8 spiders in their lifetime  apparently, they go down your throat when you sleep... :help: I now wear a surgical mask, taped, tacked, glued, stapled and cemented to my face when I go to sleep...

as for the most disgusting thing I have intentionally eaten... probably dirt... when I was a kid, but only cos I was dared to by a girl... apart from that, I am vegetarian, and I would have to say tofu... that stuff certainly does not qualify as food... though it is good for sealing holes in the roof...

Hm... I would say dog food, but that was more of a salty taste than a gross taste... I also picked up a couple of ants when I was just as little. They kind of tasted like vinegar, if I remember correctly... And if that does not satisfy, try a ketchup, mustard and dill pickle sandwich that has been sitting in the back of my desk (grade 4) for about a week because I forgot about it, then I found it because I was looking for my pencil sharpener, which was beside it...

I just don't want to wake up when it's half in/half out.

As for me, Cow Udder is about the nastiest thing I've eaten.

OH? I hear on the radio it was 8 per year.

You know when you wake up with that sticky morning breath once in a blue moon? It doesn't bother me much at all.

My youth group in high school dared me to eat a sandwich made from raw head cheese (made out of excess pork meat) and anchovy paste for a ticket for a Jars of Clay, Burlap to Cashmere, Bleach concert. It was very salty, slimy, and made me sick later.

I have left ya'll hanging long enough, so here is the reason for the thread.

Now many of you have siad that you have eaten some pretty gross stuff, from bugs, to dirt, to sushi. and many others. The thing is that I have a good feeling that (most) of your parents did not give you this stuff to eat. Most of it you ate on your own free will.

Well the same goes for God's Word, The Bible. He has given us the most wholesome food that there is available for our spiritual needs. But yet we continue to eat stuff that is soo nasty and bad for us. It gives us no nurishment at all, it just gives us a "quick fix" where God's Word will fill us up for a long time. (I am guilty of this myself, and I think that we all are at one time or another).

So the next time that you (I) want to reach for that "junk" food (reading wise), why not pick up God's Word and let Him speak to you and fill up you Spirit.

God Bless

I forgot to answer the orignal question.

The bible says not to lie, so I'll tell you the truth. :D
Well, you know that feeling when you pick up something or move to fast and you feel your throat burning? Well afew times I threw up in my mouth and had to swallow it, I'm sure it was just water or some carbonated beverage of some sort.

I don't know dude, I still feel I learned a great deal and even grew as a person from eating Cow Udder.

I mean, I was on a missions trip and I wanted to bond with the people of the country we were trying to witness to.
