That is a deceiving statement as evolution is observed fact and therefore not something you must "believe" in. Do you believe in germ theory? See my point?

What is the alternative to germ theory? Not much?

What is the alternative to evolution? Alot.

The difference is that it is quite uncommon to disagree with germ theory, and it is quite common to disagree with evolution, even if the disagreement is for flawed reasons.

I agree, yet people still agree with the other pseudo-theories. The reasoning behind why they believe in unscientific ideas like ID or Creationism is irrelavent to my point. The only thing that is important is that they do.

There are no necessary alternatives to the ToE. Evolution is already observed fact. The only alternatives you are talking about are religious and therefore not valid, as evolution does not rely upon outside forces as it is not a process as much as it is an occurance.

Evolution is only disagreed with by theists who are mad that their iron-age doctrine is challenged by the theory. As soon as more benefits come out of it they will be silenced. We are only beginning to see how useful it is.
