Dear Turtleopolis. You had some good replies, may I point out one more? God is Love, and he wants us to give up all selfishness, and become loving, and caring truly and selflessly. Jesus told us in 2 Commandments, which contain all 10 Commandments God gave us. Love God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind, also, love each other, as you love yourselves. Meaning: Never do, or say anything to anybody else, you would not want them to say, or do to you, or your loved ones. That is very hard, but with the help and Guidance of Jesus, it can be done. It will take a very long time, but we have many years to learn, as well as find it too hard, and have to ask and pray for forgiveness and for help. Jesus is our Intercessor, He pleads our prayers to God, and we will be forgiven many times, BUT we have to ask for it in our daily prayers. We ask, and we thank, and very often we fail. Then we ask again, never forget to thank, and will find, as we become more loving, compassionate and forgiving, that our lives are slowly, but gradually filled with Love, Joy and Peace.
