  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Question about original sin.

Okay. Now I'm totally confused. First you say it's universal now you say it's only Christians.

Sorry for the confusion. Maybe you could clear it up for me.

God bless
Ok, no problem, show me where I said universal, and we'll start there.

OH, ok ok ok ...this:

"So, it is universal on both sides, but the resurrection is conditional to those who believe in Him."

Ok, a confusing sentence I guess...

Universal, but conditional... Christ came to save everyone, but not everyone will be.

The condition is being Christ's.

Like general conditional forgiveness. We are forgiven of all-the gereral part- (that we repent of) the condition. Universal, with requirements.

Clearer?

So the intent was universal but the result is limited based on those who meet the prerequisite conditions?

The condition is being Christ's.
What causes us to "be Christ's?"

Like general conditional forgiveness. We are forgiven of all-the gereral part- (that we repent of) the condition. Universal, with requirements.
Sorry. I don't have a clue what you mean by this.

We'll see. :)

God bless
