Though I have always known something was "off" with my emotions, Ive never really linked that to my career. I have been a RN for 10 years. I change jobs frequently. For the last 4, I worked with a temporary agency just when I felt like it. I was known to take a month off at times. I get frustrated easy with the politics of business and just quit. Never really linked it to my mood swings until the doctor asked me if I had any problems with working. I know my dh has gotten ill at me, b/c I'll just quit w/ no notice. Last time I did it was the day after we closed on our house. Looking back, it was STUPID!
Currently I am the director of nursing with a hospice agency. Ive been here 6 months and am starting to feel that "frustrated" feeling. But in my defense, this is tough. Im the person everyone complains to and fusses at. Ive held it together fairly well. But have had a few crying spells and did blow up at my former boss one day. Could this all be related to the BP? What are the experiences of others on here who worked or are working?

it's common for alot of people. my personal opinion is that us more sensitive people, BP or not, have a low tolerance to the junk that gets into relationships and/ or working beside people. it's exhausting!
