I am trying to send e-mail to someone in brussles, belgium, they gave me their hotmail address, but every thing i send, comes back to me, anyone have any idea what may be the problem??

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Bad email addy?? Only thing that makes sense. Usually, if it comes back there is a message attached to it as to why it came back.

can you call the guy and get him to tell it to you over again? I cant imagine it being hotmail itself, but if it is try sending through another email provider.

It could be the guy's e-mail box is full too.
Do you have Hotmail yourself? If you do, try e-mailing from there. If it is full, you should get a message back saying your friend's box is full.

The answer lies in the messae that comes back with the returned mail. Usually it will say the subscriber is overlimit (if the Inbox is full) or it will indicate if the addy is a valid one or not. Without the details, it is hard to give you a specific answer.fisherman2 said:

i agree with the others. first, check if your email is being sent to the correct email address and not a broken email address; next, check how big the file you are trying to send.. it might be that the file is too big to be accomodated; send a simple "hello" message first and ask your pal to email you back

If he hasn't checked his mail in a while, they might have suspended his account. I think you have to check it every 30 days or so (I lost every message my g/f sent me when we started dating after they changed the login from 90 days to 30 ).
