Question about facebook

When you send someone who is not a friend a message on facebook, can they see your profile? If so, do they see the whole thing or just limited information?

I figured someone on this forum would know...

i think they can see it for like a week or so, but you can limit your viewing info in the edit profile section. you can decide if only friends or network or global can see your phone # address etc.

It depends on what your privacy options are... but if they do not go to the same school you do, then they will not be able to see your profile
