Problem with phosporus:

Phosphorus does not give light of its own - it only give of previously recieved energy in form of light. It only does that if it recieves energy in form of light.

So, sorry, no phosporescens without a preveiously existing lightsource.

But I offered you an alternative.

The burning of hydrogen gives a lot of energy. God could have used that to generate electrical power and light some lightbulbs.

Perhaps the LORD Himself might be the light source that provided energy for photosynthesis before the sun was set in the firmament. Just in case my earlier post wasn't understood.
