  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hey have you seen the age of the people on this thread???
Most of us are 14-24, which is brilliant! Queen is reaching out and touching another generation.

They are a brilliant band, with a great style of music and huge personalities...
Each individual in the band is a genius in his own right, for different reasons... I love them!
I went to see the WWRY musical last year and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Have you heard what Vanilla Ice did to it though? They were sent to court and everything because they stole the bass line! Disgusting!

Elton John's version of The Show Must Go On is brilliant as well.

I was so disgusted when I heard that vanilla ice song.

I am glad to see they are touring again. When they come to the US, I am so catching that show. I don't care about the cost. I was watching the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert dvd again last night. Amazing... Just amazing how many people were there to help celebrate him.

Does anybody here listen to / like Queen. I love them!

I love them! I do have a funny Queen story to share. I reguarly listen to music when I go to sleep. This one night I feel asleep listening to a Queen CD-well, a few hours later I wake up and hear nothing-then out of the blue I hear someone whispering "I'm the invisble man" BOOM "I'm the invisible man" BOOM. I have to say that I shot up straight in my bed with hand coming up to my beating heart when I heard it! It only took me a few seconds to realize that a Queen song had frightened me LOL!

Favourite Queen song. That's a tough one-I really like nearly all of their songs, but being single I can really identify with Somebody to Love.

Rest in peace Freddy

Hey,

I really like queen myself, my faveorite sone (from Queen and my fave song of all time) has to be "I want to break free". I just feel like I can relate to it somehow but I just can't work out why , although right now for some reason I can't get their song "princes of the universe" out of my head lol.

I heard a Queen tribute band on the radio the other day, I think they were called 'The Darkness'.
The Darkness aren't a queen tribute band. They were a sorry attempt at modern glam rock. Call them one hit wonders if you will...

I like them too, but you are correct in that they are not a Queen tribute band.
