  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey Jeff, guess what? Save yourself a Season Pass on TiVo, and check out Amazon.com. The first season of Quantum Leap is coming out in June on DVD. I can't wait. And its cheap too.

That was an amazing show, What did you all think to the final ep?

Personaly I think Sam never went home because he didn't beleieve he was in control or there was always someone else that needed saving, currently its the Star Trek franchise. ;)

I don't think he went home either.

I loved that last episode though. Made me cry.

It is sad that he didn't get to go home. But on the other hand, if you think about it, he kept leaping from life to life and helping out all sorts of people. Even if he did go back home, would he ever be the same again?

What about the last episode? You mean he didnt get beamed back home! Even if his life never would have been the same they owed him that much.... I have never seen that one. I got addicted to watching Quantum Leap on the SciFi channel last year. It was/is such a good show!

OK here is my take on Quantam Leap and that final episode.

When Sam stepped into the accelerator, his body was destroyed and all that was left was his essence or his soul. He became, by a completly obscure route, one of God's chosen angels, with the power to fix and change things that went wrong. The reason that he became an angel was because Sam always had the inner need to help people at the cost of himself. That is why he can never go home. There is too many people to help.
