Quaker recalls certain snack bars for December 15th, 2023, but this is a rare event

Hello folks. The probability of getting sick from oats is extremely low, but there is a recall for Quaker oats branded products with the specified LOT numbers listed on the FDA recall (linked below). But hey, Tesla recalled 2 million vehicles a few days ago. Bad products happen, but at the expense of folks' lives, we need better quality control in my opinion. Stay safe guys and gals, and be sure to follow instructions for any cereals that require cooking, and adjust cooking times to your preference.

That's very rare that a processed food made from a grain is contaminated with salmonella. The contamination must have happened after baking, or they are simply doing this because of a quality control failure and an abundance of caution.
