Q's about creating a blog

So, short and sweet, I'm 17 y/o male and in my youth group we are doing like an "our open diary" kinda message that relays that you are willing to share your own personal story with others and help them with their own problems.

Now the questions: What is blogging exactly and would it work for being something like an open journal?
If so I will probably create my own weebly. I just think it would be interesting to show literally what I think in some situations and share some of the things that I learn in my small group and small session studies. Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!

Go to a blogging site and make an account. Yours sounds like a personal or social blog, rather than a political or specialized one. Just start writing.

Be careful what you share though. Even if you delete an entry, it may persist in an archived form forever.

Okay. I had planned on just creating a Weebly blog. Everything else I'm super confused with for some reason (even tho I plan on pursuing a career in web developing and moving to design at some point) but anyways it's just more free minded, kinda like journals/diaries, right?

I recommend Wordpress. It is easy to use and you can combine the feel of a blog and webpage, having both pages and blog entries.
