Okay, thanks.Ice cores? Tropical? No, I don't think so. You won't find any evidence of a tropical past in the ice cores.
Now, was Antarctica once tropical. Yep. It's in the rocks. (They're below the ice.)
I almost totally agree with you.
The only thing I disagree with is your word choice in your last sentence.
Sorry to hear that. I pray it gets better!(I'm not having a good morning).
Enough of this rubbish.Meaning you don't know the difference between "antiscience" and "no science"?
Genesis 2:6 is describing nothing more than a hydrological cycle which the ancients had known through observation but did not understand the mechanism or the science. It's possible that it had something to do with this:
Genesis 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
Looks like the OP has been thoroughly debunked.
Does someone want to address this?
by what???
How can you say that for sure, when no one knows for sure?By the fact that these are mountains sculpted by glaciers, not mountains constructed of blocks by pyramid-building people.
By the fact that these are mountains sculpted by glaciers, .
from your link --
An Antarctic mountain with a unique, pyramid-like shape is suddenly internet-famous, ...
“This is just a mountain that looks like a pyramid,” Eric Rignot, a professor of Earth system science at the University of California, Irvine, told Live Science in an email. “Pyramid shapes are not impossible — many peaks partially look like pyramids, but they only have one to two faces like that, rarely four.” [Photos: The World’s Weirdest Geological Formations]
many mountains sculpted by glaciers no doubt.
How many of them are in a square - 2KM on each side of the base??? The article says that is not what they would expect.

We have direct evidence of ice reshaping the surface... and don't have evidence for a world wide flood.Interesting that people will pshaw a Flood but have no problem with miles deep ice reshaping a planet .
The climate and environment of what would become Australia and Antarctica is nothing like any environment of the modern world.I thought of that, but it looks like by 90 MYA, Antarctica was already pretty close to its present position wrt the Pole. It may have been tropical in the climate sense, but not the geographical one.
This rainforest core sample came from a spot that was then at 82 degrees latitude.

Floods and glaciers leave evidence. There is no evidence of a global flood.Interesting that people will pshaw a Flood but have no problem with miles deep ice reshaping a planet .

Any idea why?Floods and glaciers leave evidence. There is no evidence of a global flood.
