For I am not ashamed of the Gospel...
If you don't allow for large gaps in between dynasties, and allow some upper and lower dynasties to co-exist, there are no problems. This is a growing trend amoung historians of Egypt. If you read some of the histories given of Egypt for years ago, and compare them to now, Egypt's history is shrinking. It's history isn't as great as many Egyptologists have speculated.gluadys said:Dating. Depending on when you set the date of the flood, some early pyramids could have been built pre-flood. Or even during the flood.
If you subscribe to an earlier date for the flood, then this is not a problem. Though finding enough manpower to build the pyramids post-flood could be.
And of course, there are still all the other reasons that falsify a flood in Egypt (other than the annual flooding of the Nile) anywhere in the biblical frame of reference.
The pyramids can be safely dated post-flood, and there are no problems.
