JTLauder. There is no way for you to know no one reads the things on car windows. I or my wife have seen them do this several times. All of which were tracts that we had put there. God bless.I agree. Don't do it. For one thing, no one reads the stuff on car windows. People toss them aside with a lot of annoyance. Second, this is not a good witnessing tactic. Actually, this isn't witnessing at all. It's more like advertising, and that's how people will look at it.
Very true. Peple will be offended at the gospel. And again I need to point out I am not promoting that we just use tracts. I am just saying they need to be used in our witnessing arsenal. 2 people die each second and with very limited number of Christians sharing their faith we need to do all that we can to get out the message. God bless.why isn't it a witnessing tactic?...
one person may toss it... another will come along and pick it up wondering what it is, and if written well can give the truth and plant a seed.
I have had people who I have given tracts to, take them and rip them up right in my face and throw it on the ground... They are not offended by having someone put something on their window they are offended by the message.
Again, Never let anyone tell you not to do it, better to be persecuted (even by christians, which happens alot) and give someone/anyone the truth than not at all.
I used to read tracts as a nonchristian. it isn't a total waste. Will I give you a little advice. Don't. I'm really tired of people putting trash on my window, tracs included. I'm tired of having someone touching my windows leaving their finger prints on my car. Anyways you are just adding to the litter on the side of the road.
I think you might runn afoul with the postal service for leaving them in a box. Do you really think people are going to really read them. It will end up in the trash just like the junk mail that we get.
Are you ashamed of Christ?
Of his message?
We mock those who share their faith openly, What do we do? Do we Openly share our faith?
I have had those mock me for sharing my my faith openly who were 'christians' When asked what they do to share their faith, nothing. then continue to close your mouth, or else open it (obey his command if you are his).
Who owns the things you have in your life are they yours or Gods.
If I were you I would take those tracts that are left on your window or on you front seat and pass them along to others who might need them.
Check the regulations of your city.ordinances SURPRIZE!!! You could get a fine or a ticket for the trac that is on the ground if your chuces name is on it. Speaking from experiance here.
I personally find it sad that we have relegated evangelism down to flyer-making.
I like to use Scripture booklets myself.I personally find it sad that we have relegated evangelism down to flyer-making.
