Well, your manliness quotient went back up then I presume. My hair is really dark, so the possibilty of it highlighting on it's own is slim. But I do have two weird streaks in my hair. Growing up I had two looooooooong blonde streaks. And those streaks are now a lovely...gray. No idea why, my cousin who's studying medicine said that some asian women tend to gray at an early age. I'm too young she said, so we have no idea why those strands are gray. Maybe I had a small fright causing the color to change.

Me, too. Back when I was a teenager my sideburns(which weren't as thick as the hair on the rest of my head) would turn completely yellow and the rest of my hair would just look highlighted. I looked like I a. Used dye to try to highlight my hair(reducing my manliness quotient) and b. Did it poorly(raising my manliness quotient back up a little, but making women think less of me).

It probably wouldn't do that anymore but now that I'm a working college student I don't exactly get to spend much time outside anymore.

mine aren't from the sun though, but I do agree it does lighten my hair to beautiful strwberry blonde colour

I seriously doubt my hair is going to turn green anytime soon. I've had friends who have had their hair turn a light green, but again their hair was very light. It's odd, but just two individual strands of hair are now gray. Bleach in the water probably isn't going to single out two strands of hair and leave the rest of my head out from the color changing game. That just wouldn't be polite to my head of hair if everyone couldn't play along with the chemicals.

If they were there before, it might be something called piebaldism, which is when those areas of your scalp don't produce pigment. If you're talking just a few strands of hair, that seems to be the case with many dark haired women. My roomate and my cousin have dark brown hair, and have gray hairs, even though they're both 19.
