Heavenly Father, Thank you for the things to come, the heavenly promise, that whomsoever shall believe on the LORD shall receive eternal life. Put into our hearts the desire to long for those things from above and remove any affections for the world and it's corruption. God's will be done. Glory to God, thy Kingdom Come. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Put On The New Self: A daily prayer that we would "set our affection on things above, not on things on the earth." (Colossians 3:1-4)

"2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth." Yes we need to be Heavenly Minded. I was watching a video on TV where they were abusing animals. They were using a cattle prod on a cow that was so sick it could not stand or walk. I was thinking that Heaven if filled with animals and children. If you do not like animals or children then you can not expect that you are going to go to Heaven because you would not be happy there anyways. Jesus was pretty clear about this in His teaching about children.

Amen. In Christ we are new beings who belong to God, we're appointed by God. We shall be blameless and clean, and equipped for all good things in Christ. God's will be done. LORD, come quickly.
