Pushing Past...

I had been out of commission for a very long time. I was wounded - my father was murdered and my husband unfaithful. I was beaten and battered on every side.

It's okay to Be wounded, it's NOT okay to stay wounded - by his stripes we are healed in all ways - phyically, mentally, and spiritually and even though it doesn't "feel" true (God says to count our feelings as nothing), it is a choice.

Recently, I've chosen to be healed and serve God. I want and NEED to serve God in order to be whole. Even before all of the above, I had been told by counselors that I could never really hope to be normal - I'd been through too much. I resisted that lie - Jesus never walked up on anyone and said, well Gee you are just too broken.

I am DONE - I am done being battered and laying down - I have picked up my sword and my shield and I fully intend to engage the enemy when he comes my way. When I am attacked I will fight for the kingdom harder. I will not hesitate - I will not look back.

If you've been battered - this day choose life - you can always find somone worse off if you are willing to look.

This train is leaving the station and I am FINALLY on it - jump on board - there's plenty of nice seats left with a great view

Ever heard of theophostic ministry? It's a prayer/counseling ministry that asks the Holy Spirit to come in and once-and-for-all heal the wounds that occur when we believe a lie due to a horrible circumstance. AWESOME ministry. You might want to look it up, should you ever need healing again.

we all have a grieving process to go through when we are wounded deeply; i rejoyce that you have found your time/ season to change. it is a heavy burden to be hurting and such freedom there is and such rejoycing there is when grief has ended!

Dear Father, we rejoyce with our blessed nowhereville; we lift her up and thank you for her burdens lifted! thank you for carrying her and shaping her life to recieve your joy and healling! in Jesus name, amen!

I have heard of that ministry and I tried to get a book on it but it didn't come. I am currently on God's life support so I think I will be okay LOL
