  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The nesessity to evangelize gives us direction to the unfolding plan of our life. How it finds expression will depend upon personal gifts, but whatever our situation all of us have a place in the reconciling mission of Christ.
We cannot fulfill this purpose and remain out of touch. To minister we must get next to people, sharing their burdens, bearing their sorrows, and caring for their griefs.
The love of Christ keeps prodding us on. In his bonds there is no discharge from duty. Nor can there be any escape from hardship and pain. Love makes one vulnerable, for it does not seek its own, but seeks the good.
If we find ourselves grumbling, then we had better look more closely within our hearts to see how deeply we feel the love wherewith we are saved.
God does not want our service, but our devotion, the free offering of ourselves to him for his unspeakable gift. Embracing the cross brings us to revel in pouring out life at the feet of Jesus.
A faith without this commitment is a self contradiction, and may well appear to others as a fraud.
The proof that we believe what Jesus says is that we are willing to venture everything for his cause, and his glory alone.
