  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Josh (my fiance) and I started reading the book "A Purpose Driven Life" this past weekend. So far it has been really good! We have had long conversations each night after reading the book seperately. I think its really helping us to put God at the center of our relationship. I would highly recommend it to couples, it opens up a lot paths for discussion about general religious topics, not just stuff based on couples. Just thought I'd share, I like it a lot :)

Many of time i use the forum topics others create to have talks like that...I have a friend I read her the first post then my response, and ask what she thinks..i did it with her roomate to, just a suggestion......i cant read books its against my religion, i have the Bible on tape soon CD,and it rocks.....ok sorry.

I think that wether it be a book or whatever, discussions like that are vital to a relationship, and to ones self because so many times we find a new or better way to see things from others POV.
