Purpose Driven Life Study!

Anyone interested in a group study of "The Purpose Driven Life"? Rick Warren's book is in a study format and suggests accountability partners. I am maxed out on stuff outside the home so to do the study with my church cell group is not possible. If you are in the same boat, how about doing the study online? If you are interested, let me know and we'll set a future date to give everyone time to get the book (This will also give me time to piece my book back together, as I tore out chapters at a time to try to do it on my own at the YMCA on my exercise machine! )We can decide by popular vote whether to select one accountability partner for each of us, or to be accountable as a group. By the way, if you know of a group already on here doing this, I will yield and join!

I visited the link that someone gave you and I agree that people have the right to disagree. My church did PDL and I enjoyed it and felt convicted by it to become a member of my church and not just an attender. I'd been on the fringe for a really long time and didn't want to commit. As a result of reading PDL I was able to overcome a lifelong sin that had become a major stumbling block and stronghold in my life.... I could go on about the affect this study has had on my life (I've read it twice)... but I think everyone should make up their own mind about stuff like this. There is a thread here on CF of a group of women who were doing CF together. It's sort of petered out because people are really busy. If you're interested you could check that thread out and see what you think... I think it's in the Women's forum... I have no idea what the thread is.
