  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

That is my 23 month old's favorite color! I really wanted her to love pink after having 2 boys. . . . her dad always liked putting her in purple.

She runs around saying, "purple" to everything that is purple. She only wants to wear purple clothes, sleep in purple blankets, eat on purple plates, color with purple crayons!

we had an easter egg hunt and I kid you not, she would only pick up the purple eggs!

and if you wear purple, you're in trouble because it is hers!

Never experienced this phenomena with my boys.

purple, purple, purple all day long.

anyone else seen this with their children?

My daughter loves pink, but that is not her obsession. She loves cats. She is 3 and she still calls most animals cats. She has to wear cat clothes EVERY DAY. If none is available ( which is a common occurance, because I am the queen of procrastination when it comes to laundry LOL), she is hard to deal with. She is getting a little better if I suggest that she carry her "pet kitty" with her. Anyway, I don't think her love for cats is going to go away any time soon.

Her room is done in hello kitty, she has slippers, toothbrush, and shoes, just to name a few. Before her 3rd bday, out of the blue she said, I don't want a barbie cake, I want a hello kitty cake.

That's cute, the dresses and the cats.

This is my first daughter, I can't tell you how different she is than her brothers.
Her language, my goodness, she is talking more now than they did at 3!

Today her 17 year old brother scared her, she pointed her finger and yelled, "THAT's NOT FUNNY JASON!"

We think it was her first 4 word sentence!

We love our HANNAH !

ROFL,

my son doesn't have any particular fads that he is into at the moment, no colours, no clothes, no toys in particular.

Although while it may not be the same as pink, purple is still a pretty colour for little girls, in fact I would say that it's a girl colour, way up there with pink, especially the lighter shades of purple.

That's cute. My three year old daughter loves purple too! She loves wearing dresses because they are more comfortable than jeans. She is really into princesses so most of her clothing now has to have something to do with princesses. The funny thing about all of this is that she tries to copy her big brother in the toys that she plays with quite often, and wants to be just like him in so many ways. I've got news for her...she is too much of a little lady to ever be a tom-boy! ^_^
