  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

CC is made and bottled 45 min. away from my place and everyone around here drinks it but I find it plain, most people drink it with ginger ale or coke. If you have to mix it, it's not really worth drinking...is it?

Good point, isn't scotch the only hard liquor never mixed with anything?

I would prefer to sip some scotch on the rocks for an hour (I like Scotch

Sam Adam's Winter Lager is good, if you like chocolate, their Chocolate Bock is off the hook! Their Harvest Pumpkin Ale is delicious, Holiday Porter is good, Octoberfest is great, and their Cream Stout blows my mind - most of their stuff is pretty good!

Even though it's pretty popular, I can't stand their Summer Ale - it's one of the few beers I can't even choke down. I've heard that their Cranberry Lambic is disgusting, but I've never tried it.

Irish Cream is good stuff, good in coffee, with milk, on the rocks or alone. It's a good after dinner drink.

That's what I thought when I tasted it, the flavor reminded me of Kahlua.
