First of all let me apologize right off the top for the video I'm linking. This guy is a fundamental KJV only baptist who has a very vivid imagination but unfortunately is no more a biblical exegete than Rick Warren whom he dispises. The vid is long and will probably take a few tugs from that Canadian whiskey y'all are so high on to fight through it.

A couple months ago I meet a friend I haven't seen in years at a Mexican restaurant. He was attending a Methodist church last we spoke but has since moved on to a very different church. This was encouraging to me at first but he then informed me that he was going to an Assembly of God congregation. At that point, rather than getting all into spiritual gifts and all that I changed the subject. When I ordered my meal I also ordered a Dos Equis with lime. He said " you still drink?", I said I did still drink beer. After that I was told he hadn't had a sip of alcohol in ten years. Now as far back as ten years ago, at least to my knowledge this guy did not have a problem with heavy drinking, in fact only a few occasions come to mind where ive even seen a drink in his hand and I've known him all my life. Anyway a few days later he sent me this video and I see a real problem. To this guy drinking =drunkenness.

What a sanctimonius and self righteous religious person. It's no wonder he sees drinking=drunkenness. He could easily stand to lose about 50 or more lbs. as he clearly eats too much if he wants to get legalistic about things.

This may sound crazy but I've never bought a TV until yesterday. I had old TV's given to me but they just didn't seem like something worth thinking about. Now I have a Smart LG tv and Grace to You has an app for it. Any other apps for the Smart tv's that you would recommend? Thanks

Thanks brother. I will enjoy it once the kids left me use it.

Just cleaned up from fishing for a few hours...right now...sipping the Old Fashion, smoking my clay pipe and reading the Institutes (gord sent me).

The wine glass contained Quinta Das Carvalhas Reserva Tawny Port. (that's a mouth full)

I found it in the vintage section of the LCBO for a $13.25 a bottle (which was about $5 bucks off) and it lived up to the, "toffee and toasted almond aromas and flavours" I had read about. The reviews on the net rate it highly but they call it a after dinner Port. I call it an anytime Port. It isn't as sweet as Sherry, more like trail mix sweet, less grandma's jam sweet.

The pipe contained Muskoka Mixture from Bringham and is made up of Virgina, Burley and Latakia.

went to a wine tasting at the ohio state fair
it only cost $10
we had 6 wines, each paired with a nice snack
all of the wines were made in ohio

we started with a chopped salad with a pinot grigio, both were very crisp and refreshing
then a very nice kettle chips with a balsamic reduction and a blue cheese dip served with a semi-sweet red blend called "Middle of the Road Red Wine"
both were plesant

the real star was the desert wine, a vidal ice wine
it was served with a HORRIBLE white chocolate mouse
but the wine was very good

Ooooh, that sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon. My wife and I plan on doing a little trip to a local winery soon to do some tasting. Unfortunately, I'll have to drive so I will have to limit my tasting to one...but the wife will like it.
