Varying degrees of sin are a perception, a product of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. This is the same perception that drove them from the garden. The knowledge of God makes us the temple, but the mind of, the mind that is Christ, the heavenly city, in here there is no temple. Purgatory as well is merely a perception.
The tree of knowledge of is the perception of the Law of the Spirit of Life which turns the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man. This is nakedness dove’s dung and the knowledge merchandise. This nakedness tears down barns just to make them bigger, twice the child of the devil. Getting caught between heaven and earth, good and evil is like grabbing an angry dog by the ears.
I dont care what anyone says about you In1. I always find your post deep and Interesting. God Bless you and yours my friend. :groupray:

I am a Catholic theologian. If your interested in going deep biblically and historically to understand the doctrine of purgatory I did an extensive formal debate on the concept and doctrine of purgatory that you can study here:

I even list official Catholic sources that you can look up too. God bless you all!

I am not catholic but I believe that the Roman Catholic Church (traditionalist) and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (restorationist) are both quite correct that the ancient Judao-christian tradition of a place of spirits between death and judgement was quite orthodox and widespread and even in the later centuries when a New Testament started to exist in some form, this tradition was still quite orthodox and widespread and the predominant orthodox interpretation still included the tradition of a spirit world after death.

For example, this is the predominant interpretive assumption well before and some beyond the period when the new testament text came into existence and was starting to become disseminated. The doctrine of this spirit world was described and referred to in significant detail in the early judao-christian texts, mishnas/commentaries/ hymns, diaries, early sacred texts, etc.

Though some of the more modern Christian theories may no longer contain these traditions, I do not see any advantage of the modern christian theologies and descriptions over the early Judao-christian theologies and descriptions. I am pleased to see some degree of historical retention of (i.e. Catholic efforts) or the historical restoration of (i.e. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint efforts) this doctrine of a spirit world.

Clearly.
