Purgatory Question

Hi guys ! Me again!

Just a quick question from a new-ish Catholic Convert.

Will Purgatory be a (Generally speaking) Happly place, or a place of Suffering?

It's a place of purification. I don't think that we have the ability to know exactly what Purgatory will be like, but I think the general concenses is that it will be a place of pain.

I think it will be a place of suffering, and also a place of great hope. I think that anyone in Purgatory will suffer thankfully for the reward waiting for them.

They will be in pain, but they will be very happy knowing that they are saved and will be with God.

Two kinds of suffering: pain and sense of loss.

Oh don't joke - I just went there yesterday. I thought I had a small cavity that needs fixing, but they needed to do a root canal! Right there! No warning! Just snuck that on me! Got out of the chair one and a half hours later.

Not fun...but necessary....How's that! Like purgatory: Not fun but necessary

That sounds about right.
