  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hmm... I want to attend Purdue. What is the school like?

Well, I don't know exactly what you want to know. I really enjoy it here, I found a great church and made so many new friends. It's a good school for most subjects, I'm in the school of agriculture and it's really good. The engineering program is really big here too.

I just was wondering about the feel of it. Are the people reserved or outgoing,
Both
is it a big party school or not,
Not a HUGE, party school, but there are plenty of parties to go around if you like that kind of thing.

does it have many social places nearby (parks, beaches, diners, etc.)
Parks, there are several around, and the campus it self is very nice. As for social places, there are a lot of local restaurants and bars/pubs.

I just was wondering about the feel of it. Are the people reserved or outgoing like Apex said, yes and no, like everywhere you'll have both. There are so many clubs to get involved with so there is stuff to do if you're more outgoing. I've been in several, only two this year though.

is it a big party school or not it's definitely not the biggest but there are plenty around. You hear people talking about them somtimes in class and stuff like that.

does it have many social places nearby (parks, beaches, diners, etc.)
There are plenty of social places, lot's of good restraunts, and several parks within walking distance from campus then a couple others not too much further away.

What's your major Apex?
