  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a 12 week old miniature dachshund puppy that i have puppy pad trained, and he uses the pad pretty well every time, but he is starting to get in the habit of dragging it across the floor. i tried sticking it to the floor with velcro, but this just made him shred it to pieces. Does anyone have any advice?:help:

I never had a lot of luck with the puppy pads. When my dog was a puppy, she just tore them up. Crate training worked best for us. Other than that, I have no idea. I am sorry. Have you asked anyone at your local pet store? They may have an idea.

I have a 9 month old Keeshond. We tried potty-training him using those potty-pads at first and it worked, but then we slowly integrated him going outside. Maybe you should try to do that, slowly teach him to go outside. We also did a little of the crate training-that works well. It may seem mean, but it really does work. If you're still stumped and don't want him outside (or just can't have him go outside) I'd just talk to your veterinarian.

Good luck! Puppy training is so much fun! ;)
