Because your country will fall as the outside population pressure increases and people invade it in seeking lower population gradients. Your best hope then is to covert the invaders to your philosophy but if you fail you lose and so fell Rome. Fact is I say good riddance for most of the developing nations eat their own young. Of course they could choose to change. That is probably why God delays judgment.

so we should maintain unnesesary population growth because of fear of invasion? How... patrician... of you.

If I understand you correctly then you do not believe a slave and his master or an employee and his employer are equal. That I find to be an absurd idea as you level authority has nothing to do with equality in the eyes of God. I assume you also object the men woman relationship as men are given authority over women in certain circumstances not all as an examination of scriptures will show you. The foundation of God’s Law is that each person whether male or female, slave or master would love their fellow man as they should love themselves and thus sever God with all their heart, mind, and soul. On that foundation the whole law is built and that Law is good.

Sorry that was a typo on my part. And obviously I believe in equality of men and women in ALL scenarios.

Still God has rules he adheres to because to break them is evil and he cannot be tempted by must less do evil. Staying within those rules there are situations where one even many must be sacrificed in order to save even one.

How do you know God can do no evil?

That’s your choice and your loss but don’t forget God does and you should examine His action with that in mind.

I've examined the Bible and the religion (and many religions) more closely than you would probably believe. I used to be Christian. When I was struggling with my faith at age 18 I cried out to God in tears, pouring out my heart to him, explaining my struggles with my faith, and asked for the tiniest sign of his existence. I got nothing. Almost 7 years later, and still nothing. I had to come to the conclusion that there is no God/higher power, or if there is, (s)he doesn't care and that still negates the Christian religion.

That is a good question and a philosophical one as how do you know anything. I will still attempt to answer it by stating it is a statement of faith based on the observations of those whom wrote scripture whom I choose to trust. In nature it is a little more confusing as God’s actions and Satan’s actions get mixed up so you cannot always tell one from another nor do you know the intended outcome of any of them. Still when examining nature I have seen a continuous battle between benevolent forces and malevolent forces with each side countering the other. That of course is my interpretation of events based on my hope that God is just.

I would like to help you see God but I am not sure what you want to see Him do. He is currently at work all around you and even within you striving to bring you to knowledge of Him and do other work. I assure you He wants you to be like Him in true righteousness and holiness and for you to do that you must come to believe in Him and His Son Jesus Christ. The question then becomes to you need to believe in someone like that. If you do then seek Him with all your heart and do not give up for you will find Him. If you do choose to seek Him beware because many false teachers will try to lead you astray.

Growth is actually healthy as when growth stops one often begins to die though death may be long in coming. The alarmist have been sounding the overpopulation bell for at least a couple of hundred years and yet their fears have not materialized for the simple reason that they forgot that the human species in intelligent enough to adapt in various ways.

God had good reason to say be fruitful and multiply.
