Pulling Weeds

From a long time domant seed
Strife and trouble germinate
Sprouting thorns that permeate
All lazy souls who in their pride
Harbor grudges deep inside.
Forgive! Forget all bitter seeds,
It hurts far less than pulling weeds!

Everhope, This poem is good in the fact that it is very truthful. The imagery that you used to pain the picture is excellent. It is a very good job well done.

Wow, thanks for the specific comment, Elfwithgrace. For me, poetry writing magnifies truths in ways that stick...not just flatly stated. It "doesn't work" many more times than it "does." Thanks again for the comment.
