  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I need to say this morning that I think we as Christians are taking to many things lightly. I notice that on so many prayer request all we say is we will pray for that situation. When it comes to certain things like homosexuality there isn't but one thing to say, I don't agree with it, It is wrong, God says it is wrong, and I will not pray for it. I feel that if we don't stand up and say that this is wrong then who will? How do you feel when someone talks about two homosexuals who plan to get married with a Biblical ceremony. If it is Biblical then the minister should include the words THIS IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD. I love to pray for peoples requests, but I for one am going to start speaking up about whats wrong. Lets not stay quiet to sin in fear of hurting someones feelings. Lets stand for God and the laws he gave us to live by. Also I think anyone who calls himself a minister and is willing to marry a couple of gay men, or lesbian women is nothing but a false prophet, or a witchdoctor. May god have mercy on you.

Yes, I too also believe that not many people, especially Christians do not have the courage of their convictions and God will call us all to account for this on our day of Judgement.

As my 86 year old mother still tells me to this day, Gods word is still the same today as was when it was originally written and He still expects us to uphold his Laws.
