Publisher

I have been trying to recollect/edit two novels that I have written for a series. My flash drive where I stored my writing was stolen several months back. I have a hard copy and electronic copies of the story, however I was in the middle of editing it when it was stolen. I'm pretty sure that the copy I have is the final draft. I'm not careless enough to not back it up. Anyways, now I have a publisher requesting to see my work, but I'm scrambling trying to read through the 290-page book in order to make sure it was the final draft! This is a writer's worst nightmare, I think. Pray for me!

OK. I just got the email from them. They accepted it. They sent me a sample contract for me to look over and see if I want to go further with it.
